Iontophoresis

Iontophoresis is a technique that can be used to transport drugs in ionic form across intact skin. When using drugs affecting the local blood perfusion, it is possible, for example, to study endothelial function in patients with different conditions.

PeriIont Micro Pharmacology System can deliver minute volumes of drugs non-invasively in a controlled fashion. Together with PeriFlux System 5000, PeriScan PIM3 System or PeriCam PSI System the vascular responses to the drug can be studied simultaneously.
