Faster, high resolution images

The PeriCam PSI System combines speed – instant real-time imaging – with high resolution images. It enables you to monitor the spatial distribution and dynamics of blood perfusion in an area of a few square millimeters to 15 x 15 centimeters. Moreover, to facilitate your microcirculation research, the system automatically produces real-time graphs of the blood perfusion, while films can be recorded and reviewed at anything between ¼ and 64 times the original speed.

The instrument is available in two different models, normal resolution, PeriCam PSI NR, and high resolution, PeriCam PSI HR. To strictly control measuring precision, both have a fixed focal length. When an object is measured at separate time points any changes in perfusion are due to physiological differences rather than lens calibration or technical issues. In addition, background compensation is automatically carried out every second to avoid interference from background light.
