PeriIont Micropharmacology System

The PeriIont Micropharmacology System is an iontophoresis system that can deliver minute volumes of drugs non-invasively in a controlled fashion. Together with the laser Doppler or the laser Speckle (LASCA) technique, vascular responses to the drug can be studied. Depending on the choice of drug, endothelium dependent and endothelium independent vasodilation can be studied.

The PeriIont Micropharmacology System is available for PeriFlux System 5000, PeriCam PSI System, PeriScan PIM 3 System and PeriScan PIM II System. To further enahance its usability, the latest generation iontophoresis device, PF 751 PeriIont USB Power Supply, is operated using the PeriIont Software making it possible to automate the iontophoresis procedure.
