The PeriScan PIM 3 System is small, lightweight and can be attached to any stable surface in the examination room or to a mobile cart. A color camera inside the scanner head takes a photograph of the measurement object for documentation purposes and for easier identification of areas of interest in the perfusion image.

Data is analyzed using the dedicated PIMSoft software. Regions of interest can be drawn in the blood-flow image, intensity image or color photo; the perfusion in those areas is quantified numerically. Export options include export of perfusion values and images to Microsoft® Word,  Microsoft® Excel and .pdf, video recordings of the perfusion as well as detailed export of all recorded data.
