LDPIWin is a recording and analysis software package specifically designed for the PeriScan systems. The software allows easy set-up of measurement parameters, such as image resolution and size/shape of the scan area. Single or repeated blood perfusion images can easily be recorded. The "repeated" mode is useful for studying the time course of a physiological response to a provocation. A third scan mode, simulating dynamic single-point measurements with high time resolution, is also available.

In LDPIWin, blood perfusion is presented both as numerical values and as color-coded images. Data evaluation is easily performed by defining regions of interest in the perfusion image. Calculated parameters include mean, maximum, minimum, percentage change, number of measurement sites, etc. Both raw data and calculated values can be conveniently exported to Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel for further analysis.
