The PeriFlux System 5000 uses laser Doppler technology to measure systolic toe and ankle blood pressures. The procedure involves placing an appropriate cuff on the toe/limb and a laser Doppler probe distal to the cuff. The cuff is first inflated to a pressure well above the systolic blood pressure, and is then automatically linearly deflated until the laser Doppler probe detects the return of blood perfusion. The pressure at the return of the blood perfusion is equivalent to the systolic toe or ankle pressure.

The system can be configured according to your needs. Choose from a single channel system, measuring one digit at a time, to a 3-channel system, measuring two digits and brachial pressure simultaneously, with automatic calculation of indices (ABI/TBI). 

The procedure is managed and controlled by our specially developed Perisoft Examination Manager software. We also customize Perisoft Examination Manager to meet YOUR protocol requirements, including patient information, workflow and reporting. Information collected on existing paper forms can easily be added into the software. Results and patient information will be presented on reports designed according to YOUR specifications. Reports can then be printed or saved in PDF format, allowing a paperless workflow. The system is also compatible with DICOM™.
