Microcirculatory measurements in muscle Invasive blood perfusion measurements using laser Doppler technique in muscle can be performed with the PeriFlux System 5000 equipped with PROBE 402 . PROBE 402 is introduced into the tissue to desired depth through a cannula. Another option, especially for chronic measurements, is PROBE 418 and plastic microtips which can be left in the muscle.
