In session #5, Dr. Damian J. Ralser MD, from the University Hospital of Bonn in Germany, talks about how he uses laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) technology with PeriCam PSI during oncoplastic breast surgery. In surgery, LSCI can monitor blood perfusion in the patient in real time, without contact, and without the need for contrast agents, helping surgeons to determine flap viability and procedure success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
