Software vulnerabilities<\/strong> \u2014 lack of regular maintenance exposes software to increased risk of cyberattack. Unpatched or poorly protected software can lead to unauthorized access to patient data, which may violate privacy and safety regulations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Measurement performance<\/strong> \u2014 our probes have a lifetime of 36 months. Beyond this time, we cannot guarantee basic safety and essential performance of your Perimed equipment.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Improved software and interface<\/strong> \u2014 the system models of PeriFlux 6000 feature an intuitive user interface <\/strong>designed to streamline measurement and analysis. About PeriFlux 5000<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When it initially launched in the mid-nineties, PeriFlux 5000<\/strong> was a groundbreaking medical device. First as a research instrument and later cleared for clinical use, PeriFlux 5000 offered laser Doppler blood perfusion <\/strong>and transcutaneous oxygen (TcpO2) capabilities for assessing blood flow at the microvascular level \u2014 key insights for evaluating treatments and supporting diagnosis in areas like peripheral artery disease (PAD), diabetic foot, and wound healing \u2014 as well macrovascular assessments like toe pressure and TBI, and ankle pressure and ABI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the main appeals of PeriFlux 5000 was its unique modular design<\/strong> that enabled users to tailor the system to meet their specific clinical or research needs. We offered a range of fiber optic probes for skin applications and flexible probes for assessing more complex tissue areas.
