Ensure consistency in your TcpO2 measurements with our TC-555 fixation rings designed for stability and ease of use. Suitable replacement for discontinued Radiometer fixation rings — D282 Fixation kit for tc electrodes.
Key benefits
- Secure attachment — ensures robust measurement by holding the electrode firmly in place.
- Flexible — conforms easily to challenging curved anatomy such as the feet and toes, without compromising adhesion.
- Controlled measurement environment — used with a few drops of contact liquid to create an air-free connection between the skin and the electrode, ensuring signal stability and reproducibility.
- Single-use — for hygiene, convenience, and infection control.
Compatibility
Our fixation rings are compatible with Radiometer E5250 electrodes.
How to gain robust, reproducible results
- Calibrate electrodes — we recommend calibrating before every measurement
Place the fixation rings at your measurement sites — avoid the sole of the foot, edema, sharply curved anatomy, bony prominences, and calluses. - Ensure the measurement site is clean by thoroughly wiping it with alcohol to remove any cream or other greasy residue, and by removing any flaky skin.
- Add a few drops of contact liquid into the ring (just a few drops are enough).
- Align the marker on the electrode with the fixation ring alignment.
- Turn the electrode 90 degrees clockwise to lock it into place.

- Watch for the dip when you start measurement — it indicates a properly sealed and well-connected electrode.
